Urban / Central Valley Hotels

Costa Rica has only a few densely populated urban areas like Santa Cruz or Liberia up north in Guanacaste, or San Isidro in Puntarenas in the southern zone, but they all pale in comparison to the Central Valley, home to the capital, San Jose, and other popular cities like Escazu, Santa Ana, Alajuela and Heredia just to mention a few. Here is where the majority of Costa Rica's population resides and the typical urban lifestyle can be had here with a multitude of malls and shops, lots of restaurants, clubs and night life, and of course, urban traffic. Though traffic might not be your cup of tea, it's decidedly a good thing where profitable hotels are concerned. There are hotels of all kinds in the Central Valley. And they cater to many demographics from the backpacker to the business traveler to the medical tourism traveler.
